شارك وفد بلدية صيدا برئاسة عضو المجلس البلدي المهندس مصطفى حجازي ممثلا رئيس البلدية المهندس محمد السعودي في حفل العيد الوطني لدولة مملكة السويد، الذي أقامته السفارة السويدية في لبنان مساء اليوم في خان الإفرنج في صيدا . كما مثلت عضو المجلس البلدي السيدة وفاء شعيب نائب الرئيس الأستاذ إبراهيم البساط في الحفل .
ونقل حجازي تحيات الرئيس السعودي (الموجود خارج لبنان ) لسفيرة مملكة السويد في لبنان الدكتورة آن ديسمور مهنئا إياها بالعيد الوطني لبلادها . وأضاف: كما نشكرها على إختيار خان الإفرنج لإقامة هذا الحفل لما يمتاز به كمعلم تراثي وتاريخي وثقافي يعكس حضارة المدينة .ونأمل أن يكون هذا الحفل فاتحة خير مع بدء موسم الصيف وأن يكون حافلا بالنشاطات والمهرجانات.
كما شاركت شرطة بلدية صيدا بقيادة المفوض بدر القوام في التدابير المتخذة إلى مكان الحفل .

Mohammed Al-Saudi, participated in the National Day celebration of the Kingdom of Sweden, which was held by the Swedish Embassy in Lebanon this evening in Khan Al-Franj in Sidon. The member of the Municipal Council, Mrs. Wafaa Shuaib, represented the Vice President, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Bassat, at the ceremony.
Hijazi conveyed the greetings of the Saudi President (who is outside Lebanon) to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Lebanon, Dr. Ann Dismore, congratulating her on her country's National Day. He added: We also thank her for choosing Khan Al-Afranj to hold this ceremony because it is distinguished as a heritage, historical and cultural landmark that reflects the civilization of the city. We hope that this ceremony will be a good beginning with the start of the summer season and that it will be full of activities and festivals.
Saida Municipal Police, led by Commissioner Badr Al-Qawam, participated in the measures taken to the venue of the ceremony.
