In an unprecedented initiative for a Lebanese journalist, the Ambassador of the World Peace Organization (HWPL), Ghassan El Zaatari (from the southern Lebanese city of Sidon) and during his participation in the World Peace Summit held in Seoul, South Korea, Korean border to the South and North Korean border he visited, notably the United Nations Line of Control and the United Nations observation point, the last point of reunification of the South and North Koreas, accompanied by a number of representatives of the World Peace Organization HWPL
Ambassador El-Zaatari was received by local parents and students of schools at the border and met with them, stressing that Lebanon and his people love peace for the peoples of the world. He expressed his regret for the threats that are launched from time to time in the proximity of the war
He also stressed that the slogan of peace raised by the Chairman of the World Peace Organization (HWPL), Mr. Man Hee Lee, and the President of the World Women s Peace Organization, Mrs. Nam Hee Kim, began to echo in raising the voice of peace all over the world instead of destructive wars
Korean students and parents thanked Ambassador Zaatari for the peace gesture which he conveyed from Lebanon and the city of Sidon(the Peace City) to the Korean people. They wished him to convey the message of peace to the whole world, especially to the North Korean people, stressing that they are looking forward to achieving peace and restoring the unity of the Korean people in one country
